Absolutely breathtaking views over Dyrhólaey and the nearby Black Sand Beach! Clean rooms keep warm despite the biting Cold outside, and the kitchen area accommodates multiple guests cooking simultaneously.
Limited shared bathrooms for the number of rooms create long wait times, and inconsiderate guests can lead to messy communal areas. with only one tea towel per 10 rooms, it’s challenging!

Positive, The view from my room was amazing! 🌅 The place was spotless and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. We also had a nice, quiet family room that kept warm despite the chilly weather. I highly recommend staying here.

Modern feel in shared spaces. Conveniently located for the black sand beach, with plenty of showers available for guests.
Rooms lack effective soundproofing, noisy due to road traffic. Basic amenities compared to other options in the area, with bathroom arrangements not matching expectations and poor WiFi coverage.

The kitchen was well-stocked, allowing us to
prepare simple meals during our stay. Cleanliness was outstanding, and the staff were genuinely kind, offering us coffee upon arrival. However, there was limited space in the fridge, which was challenging with peak occupancy.

Super close to the black sand beach. so we caught the sunrise without the crowds! The shared kitchen had enough supplies for a cozy meal, and the whole place was clean and welcoming.
No issues.

The rooms were delightfully quiet. you could actually hear yourself think! There’s a spacious common area for lounging, and it’s a hop away from the beach. Perfectly clean and the owner is a gem!
But darling, the check-in time is at 4! What kind of rule is that? I could've sworn I was on an episode of ‘waiting for a room’!

The guesthouse's proximity to the Black Sand Beach was a huge plus, allowing for breathtaking views right from our room. Cooking facilities were well-equipped, making meal preparation easy. However, the communal bathrooms created a bit of a challenge during peak times, and we faced some cleanliness issues in shared kitchen areas. Despite the warmth inside compared to the cold outside, the limited shared facilities were less than ideal.

It was just a great fit for a brief hiatus in Vik i Myrdal with great value for money. The owner was super helpful, giving us the wifi password even after hours. Look for rooms with ocean views. you can hear the waves at night.

Stunning scenery surrounds this cozy guesthouse, and the kitchen's tea and coffee supply creates a warm atmosphere. Quick access to the nearby black beach for an early morning visit was a highlight. However, the shared bathrooms led to occasional long waits, and cleanliness in common areas needed improvement. Limited fridge space during peak occupancy made storing food somewhat challenging, but overall, essentials were met.
